Whitewater Emmaus Mennonite Church

The congregation of the Emmaus Mennonite Church woke up on January 29, 2008 to learn that their church building had been destroyed by fire during the night. The congregation mourned the loss of their historical building but also felt the urgency to begin planning for their future.

Their building committee and many sub-committees met faithfully with Fuqua Construction’s Design Build team to study and determine the needs and vision for their new building and their future ministry to this rural community. Although this has been a sad loss for the congregation, it has become an opportunity to design a structure that is more suitable for the size of their membership and can effectively meet the need for outreach ministry.
