Peoples Bank and Trust in McPherson wanted to place a branch bank in the Inman community. Fuqua Construction was hired for this work. The renovation project started in the front of the building to create a temporary space where the branch bank could begin operations. As the bank officers and employees offered services to the Inman community in the temporary entry area, the Fuqua crew was busy behind the scenes with demolition and rebuilding. Within this new space are two spacious lobby areas, a marble topped oak teller line, numerous private offices, and a conference room. The hand-crafted oak teller line is reminiscent of the teller line in the original Peoples Bank in McPherson. Goertzen Homes, another Inman business, designed and crafted this fine piece of furniture.
